Oyo state Landlords appeal to Oyo govt over road, electricity

Oyo state landlord and resident of Onilu-Amuro Community, Adegbayi-Olode, in Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State, have appealed to the Oyo State government and the local government authorities to rescue them from perpetual darkness and deplorable state of the road network in the neighbourhood.
The Onilu-Amoro Landlord Association, in a statement made available to the Nigerian Tribune and signed by four zonal chairmen, said the communities in the affected area have been in darkness due to a damaged transformer, urging the government and the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) to bail them out.
Chairman of zone ‘A’ of the association, Mr Ajilore, said lack of power supply to the area has affected the livelihood of residents.
The central chairman of the association, Pastor Segun Balogun, also urged authorities concern to help rehabilitate the road networks to make life easier for the affected people.
