Intensifies in OyoJonathan’s re-election campaign


The Director of Media for Team Folarin, Sunday Babalola, in a statement he issued in Ibadan, said the campaign train enjoined party faithful to work vigorously for the re-election of the president, “whose return is in the best interest of the country.”

According to him, the campaign team after receiving royal blessings from the Onitede of Tede, proceeded to address mammoth crowd of party faithful in Tede, Ago Amodu and Saki respectively where party executives in the three local government areas pledged their unflinching support.

The campaign to drive support for the reelection bid of President Goodluck Jonathan intensified yesterday as the former Senate Leader, Teslim Folarin, the Senate Deputy Whip, Hosea Agboola and the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum Downstream, Muraina Ajibola, took the campaign to Oke Ogun area of Oyo State. The trio visited Iseyin, Tede, Ago-Amodu, Saki, Oyo, Ona Ara, Oluyole and Ibarapa areas, among others, where they addressed leaders and members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the zones on the desirability of returning Jonathan with a view to enabling him complete the various people-oriented projects he had already started in the areas.
