According to reports, President Goodluck Jonathan has assured that the insecurity caused by Boko Haram in the country would soon be a thing of the past.
The president stated that the situation would change for the better within the next one month, Vanguard Newspaper reports.
Nigeria’s number one man reportedly said this while speaking yesterday, September 18, 2014, at the 66th National Executive Committee, NEC of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which recently endorsed him as its sole candidate for the 2015 presidential elections.
He added further:
“Nigeria is having an unfair share. Terror is a global problem, and Nigeria situation is going beyond terror. When terrorists think about holding ground, attempting to install leadership, it is no longer terrorism, it is almost like going into the line of succession. Between now and October, things will change.”
