Roma gangs Parents demand crackdown on school's violent

Roma Slovakian children have created a gang culture at a school where one teenage pupil was hospitalised last week following a savage assault.
more than 1,500 parents have signed an online petition accusing teachers at Sheffield’s Hinde House School of covering-up the violence and demanding a crackdown.

The petition was launched after 14-year-old Rhys Larkings was left with a broken nose and black eyes after being punched to the ground at the 1,200-pupil school, where 38 per cent do not speak English as their first language.

South Yorkshire Police are investigating the incident but parents claim pupils have been “stabbed, mugged and nearly kicked to death” in recent months.

Head teacher Chris French admitted there were tensions but added “staff have been working with students and the wider community to resolve these
