How to improve your marketing results...

One of the best ways to improve your business results is improving your marketing.

Sure, you can also try new marketing tactics and/or change your strategy. But it’s often better to improve what you’re already doing than it is to try new things. And improving things usually takes a lot less time than learning something totally new.
“Improving” might mean learning to use the tactics you’re already using better (e.g., guest blogging, advertising, email marketing). Or improving some details in your sales funnel (e.g., landing pages, sales pages, videos).

In other words, you can either learn to use a tactic better or do conversion optimization to improve the results you’re getting.

But people often make a small mistake before they even get started; you should first identify what you should improve first.

Look at your marketing strategy, identify the key “steps” people take before buying, and see which step is keeping more people from buying.

It’s very difficult to do that if your marketing strategy isn’t simple and clear enough. Trying to see what you should improve is actually a great way to check if your strategy is clear enough :-)

If you can’t see what needs your attention, then push aside improving things for a while and focus on clarifying your strategy.

But when you know what “step” needs your attention, figure out how you can make it work better. If you need to learn something, find a way to learn it. If you need to test something, test it. If you need help, find someone who can help.

And if you have a question, just reply.

Or if you’d like to have a clear, simple marketing strategy that makes people see why they would want to buy your products and services, maybe we should work together.

If we do, we’ll start by clarifying what are the best reasons for people to buy what you sell (=your value proposition). Then we’ll build a simple strategy for you that fits your business (and you). And then we can focus on improving the results.

Just tell me what you sell, so we can talk more about how you’d reach your goals the fastest.
