Every Year 600,000 Employees in China Killed Due To Excessive Overtime

China appears to be facing an epidemic of “hard work excessive” sehinggi now in China even the term to refer to those who died from working too hard, guolaosi.
Guolaosi last case involving a senior official of the China Banking Regulatory Commission, Li Jianhua were killed by “working too long” in April. Li Jianhua (48), collapsed at his home and died shortly afterwards after a late night to finish the job.
Colleagues Li, Bloomberg said, he often worked until midnight and even early morning. Li also traveled to 10 provinces of China and met with 68 corporate financial management in the second half of last year.
The death of Li became the latest in a series of similar cases that invite the attention of the foreign media. Other cases override Jie Pan (25) an auditor of a public accounting firm Pricewaterhouse Cooper who died from meningitis in 2011.
Although there is no clear evidence of the disease, death and excessive work, but young women often upload a sense of fatigue through social media. “When there is no time to rest, the fever came,” Pan said in one of the booms in social media.
A co-worker Jie Pan claimed, the employee was given a job that can not be resolved without overtime.
Another young worker Gabriel Li (24), the employee of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, died last year of a heart attack and collapsed at his desk. However, the advertising company was denied Gabriel died due to prolonged overtime.
